Man & Woman of the Year 2012

In communities across the country, dynamic and passionate candidates engage in a spirited competition to earn LLS’s Man & Woman of the Year. The candidates compete in honor of children who are local blood cancer survivors, the Boy & Girl of the Year: Chris Weller and Bailey Cooney.

Candidates, and their campaign teams, are judged solely on their fundraising efforts—each dollar raised comprises one vote.  During a ten-week campaign, beginning Thursday March 8th, the day of our Kickoff Party at the Anaheim White House Restaurant, and culminating at the Grand Finale Celebration at the Hyatt Regency in Newport Beach on Friday May 18th, every dollar counts as the candidates who raise the most funds to help advance the mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will be named the 2012 Man & Woman of the Year.

The announcement of the winners will be held at the Grand Finale celebration where candidates and their guests will join sponsors and other prominent community members. They will celebrate the outstanding achievements of all candidates and campaign teams while sharing in the excitement of live and silent auctions and enjoying sumptuous food, cocktails and music.
